Welcome to Covered Bridge Recording
One of the newest Dolby Atmos recording studios is in Bellevue, TN, just 8 miles from downtown Nashville. This unique studio has over 3000 square feet dedicated to the studio with a variety of recording spaces and mix rooms. The Studio was explicitly designed with the Producer and Artist in mind. No cartage needed. All the instruments and gear needed to complete your record are at the ready.
Studio A is a full tracking studio doubling as a Dolby Atmos mixing room with our API 2448 Console, Live Room, and various ISO booths. The rooms have custom acoustic treatment to produce great sound.
Studio B is a mix room with a dockstation for laptops. The studio is equipped with outboard gear to record podcasts and vocals.
The versatility of the studio includes the capability for podcast recording, audio book recording & mixing, video and photo shoots, preliminary film/TV scoring or editing, tracking, band practices, music release parties, writers retreats and more.
There is a full kitchen, living room, outdoor recreation area, pickleball, basketball, pool, darts, and an outdoor stage. Free tour bus or trailer parking is available behind a secure fence.
Covered Bridge was inspired from an actual covered bridge on a lake in Western PA, where we spent time in nature at a YMCA camp under the stars. We wanted to carry that feeling of retreat, connection and community to the studio.
We also have a boutique amplifier company (Category 5 Amplification) and a record label (Station House Records) that gave us inspiration to do more. Category 5 is known for its attention to detail and delivering vintage style tones with modern features. This is the same philosophy that led us to our outboard gear partner, Stam Audio. Station House Records is known for producing records with the absolute best guitar tones in great studios and analog equipment. We leaned on this expertise when designing our studio to ensure vintage tones.
With a full collection of vintage guitars and access to great pianos from our partner, Concert Pianos, we thought it was time to incorporate it all into a fully functioning studio. With Grace’s experience and training, we had all we needed to provide a full service for a record label, a producer, or an engineer to make great music. And with the help of our great partners, we have fully equipped the studio for your success.

Grace Ritter

Studio Owner, Audio Engineer, and Dolby Atmos-Certified. Grace started as a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer before going back to her first love: music.
She has been a drummer for over 16 years. In her spare time, Grace loves building microphones, outboard gear, and repairing equipment.
Don Ritter
Dallas, Tx
Located in Dallas but will come up to Nashville if requested – Co-Owner, Owner of Category 5 Amplification, and executive producer for Station House Records.
Don has been designing and building custom guitar amps for touring pros for the last twenty years. He has produced guitar tones for 4 albums and executive produced three albums under Station House. He also has an interest in vintage guitars and pianos, and is known to have an addiction of buying analog gear and mics.
Leslie Ritter
Dallas, Tx
No musical talent at all, but can play the stereo and will cook you a good meal if you sing a song for your supper.
She will help with studio booking, set-up requirements & special requests, and any other coordination needed to help ease the recording experience.
